The protocol
Why isotonic beats water in the heat.
Water alone doesn't replace what you lose. Plain caffeine doesn't sustain a 90-minute session. ZenCharge handles both.
Isotonic = blood-matched absorption.
Isotonic drinks are formulated at roughly the same osmolality (solute concentration) as your blood. Your body can absorb them through the gut into the bloodstream much faster than plain water during exercise — critical when you're sweating hard in Indian conditions.
Carbs sustain the session.
For training over 60 minutes, your muscle glycogen starts running low. Replenishing with fast carbs during the session prevents the bonk — the sudden energy crash endurance athletes know too well.
Electrolytes prevent cramps.
Sodium and magnesium are the two minerals most associated with exercise-induced muscle cramping. Replacing them during the session keeps you cramp-free in hot conditions.

How is it different from a pre-workout?
Pre-workouts are stim-heavy, taken once before training, designed for short strength sessions. ZenCharge is isotonic and carb-based, sipped during training, built for sessions over 60 minutes where you need sustained fuel and hydration.
Will I gain fat from the carbs?
The carbs are intra-workout fuel — they're burned during the session, not stored. For endurance athletes, intra-workout carbs are net beneficial for performance and recovery.
Stack with creatine?
Yes — they work on different systems. Creatine is for explosive strength; ZenCharge is for endurance and hydration. Take creatine daily, ZenCharge as needed.
Caffeine content?
Moderate dose — enough for focus over a long session, not enough to spike and crash. If you're caffeine-sensitive, take with breakfast first to assess tolerance.
